A New Featurette Takes Us Inside ‘The Mist’

Next week brings the much-anticipated (at least by me) debut of Spike TV’s take on the classic Stephen King tale The Mist.  Like the rest of you – I’m a bit concerned about this whole “reimagining” thing they are pushing – we’ve all seen how horribly wrong that can go sometimes but, if they pull it off, it could be a thing of beauty.

We’ll all find out this coming Thursday night – as The Mist rolls in that night.

Spike has done a better than expected job of getting the word out about the project – case in point – this nice new character profile featurette just hit.  It gives us a quick look at the character of Bryan Hunt played by Okezie Morro.  Have a look!

This version of The Mist will tell the following story:

“A small town family is torn apart by a brutal crime. As they deal with the fallout, an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world and, in some cases, each other. Family, friends, and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.”

Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland, Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Okezie Morro, Dan Butler, Darren Pettie, Isiah Whitlock, Jr., Russell Posner, Luke Cosgrove, and Frances Conroy will all grace our TV screens on Thursday June 22nd at 10 PM.  Have the TV tuned into Spike!
