Jordon Peele Is Heading To ‘Lovecraft Country’

Everyone has been speculating what Jordon Peele’s next project might be.  After the runaway success of Get Out – the horror world has been chomping at the bit to know if director Peele might once again attempt to light up the genre and today we have our answer – yes, yes he will.

Deadline is reporting that Peele will be teaming up with J.J. Abrams Bad Robot productions and Warner Brothers Television to bring a new hour-long anthology series based on Matt Ruff’s Lovecraft Country.

No word on any stars or story ideas yet but here is the description of the book:

“Lovecraft Country, the 2016 novel from Matt Ruff, focuses on 25-year-old Atticus Black. After his father goes missing, Black joins up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America to find him. This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the malevolent spirits that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback.”

Now that this one has been announced – I would suspect things to move along quickly – keep it here for the latest!
