AMC and Eli Roth Are Going To Recount The ‘History Of Horror’

AMC announced a slew of new programming that will be heading our way but the one that should garner the attention of my genre fans will be Eli Roth’s History of Horror.  A part of a new segment that AMC will be producing titled AMC Visionaires – we will be getting six one hour episodes and here’s what Eli has to say about it:

“I’m thrilled to be part of this incredible series. For years, I’ve wanted to create a definitive ‘History of Horror,’ a living record of the genre with interviews from all the greats, old and new. Sadly, we lose more of these masters every year and with them go their stories and experiences. This show will serve as a record for future generations — fans and filmmakers alike — to enjoy. I could not be prouder to create this with AMC.”

No firm release date but they do note that a 2018 rollout is being planned.

  1. Aw, this was an extremely nice post. Taking the time and actual effort
to produce a very good article… but what can I say…
I procrastinate a lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.

  2. Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a
sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her
ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is
completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
